Academic Excellence

Our diverse and loving student body strives for academic, social, and spiritual advancement. Every child is pushed to realize his or her full potential and to grow in love and respect for themselves, for others and for God.

St. Sylvester students continuously score above all city, state, and national averages on standardized tests and are accepted into the high schools of their choice. All of our graduates go on to high school and over 90% then advance directly to college.

Professional Educators

St. Sylvester teachers form the backbone of our academic program and guide our students’ development. Over 70% have attained Masters degrees in their field and all teachers participate in on-going professional development throughout the year.

~ Grades 3-8 receive weekly responsibility reports detailing student performance, progress and behavior.

~ All classrooms have weekly, or monthly newsletters and/or classroom blogs with updated class information.
