Hello everyone!  

    Welcome to our website where we are proud to share with you the people, projects, and programs that make St. Sylvester School so successful.  Situated across from beautiful Palmer Park, St. Sylvester School has served the Logan Square community for over 100 years and today serves just under 270 students in Preschool-8th grade.  We are a loving and dynamic school community and are excited to welcome all of those who wish to learn and grow with us.  

    For the 5th consecutive year, our enrollment has increased.  This is a testament to our tremendous staff and the dynamic programs found at all grade levels.  From progressive reading education, 1-1 instruction, and a state of the art technology lab to sacramental preparation, sports teams, after school clubs, and an instrumental music program, our school educates students holistically.  I invite you to explore the pages and pictures in our site to learn more about each of the talented teachers and support staff members here who make our advancement possible and to discover the rich ways that our school can help your child develop.

      We are excited to open up the registration process for the 2012-13 school year!  Our recent success has spawned great demand for spaces within our classrooms and we anticipate a strong return throughout our early enrollment period.  The 2012-13 Registration Form can be downloaded here. The first week of registration (1/31-2/6) is reserved exclusively for current families before it opens to everyone on February 7, 2012.  Both the registration form and the registration fee must be returned to our office in order to complete the enrollment and guarantee a place in next year's classes.  Registration will stay open until all classes are at capacity. 

     Secondly, we want to say thank you to all who visited St. Sylvester during our Open House.  We hope it provided a valuable insight into the daily life and success of our school.  We further hope that it was a good prelude to our open enrollment period as we look forward to enrolling many new families on February 7, 2012 when registration opens up to everyone.
